How we arrive at this price

Happy Builder developed its own methodology so every client can quickly get a realistic orientation of how much a renovation may cost. To show how this works, we took a real example apartment and used our public renovation calculator to generate an offer.

The offer is number S02234, issued on 18.05.2026. It is prepared for an apartment with an area of 60 m². The calculator assumes that 5 m² are bathroom, and the remaining 55 m² are rooms for floors, walls, and ceilings.

What assumptions the calculator makes

The unit prices are real prices for the relevant measurement units: m², m, or unit. The assumption is in the quantities. To give the client quick orientation, the calculator does not require the exact size of every wall, ceiling, corridor, and bathroom. Instead, it uses indicative quantities for this type of property.

In this offer, for example, the walls are calculated as 121 m², the ceilings as 55 m², the floors outside the bathroom as 55 m², and the bathroom is a package item. This is useful enough for an initial financial frame, but it does not replace a precise offer based on real measurements.
